On the summit of the Spitzmeilen (2501 m) above the Flums mountains. The Spitzmeilen is a solitary rocky peak that is easily recognisable from afar and is a popular ski tour destination. The ascent is from the rear and is much easier than this picture suggests.
Thanks to its relatively easy accessibility from the Flums mountains and its characteristic shape, the Spitzmeilen is a popular climb in both summer and winter.
