BIOGRAPHY
Alexander K. Barden
While traveling over 60 countries I gained many impressions of different landscapes and diverse cultures. As a mountaineer and drone pilot I get many chances to get extraordinary shots with my friends.

My goal is to bring some of the adventure, beauty and adrenaline of the outdoors to the people at home.

By working as an engineer in a drone company for several years, i was able to acquire a lot of technical skills in this field.
My passion is to capture the art that nature provides us with the newest technology of flying - as birds have been doing it since the dawn of time.

Already in my early childhood I developped a pronounced fascination with the alps. Foto albums at my parents are filled with mountain pictures I shot as a little boy when hiking with my father.

After having forgotten about this passion in my teens, I rediscovered it in my early twenties. Built on the scarce knowledge still stuck in the back of my head from childhood, I have self-learned the techniques needed for climbing, alpinism and skitouring.
As a scientist, I am equipped with a deep drive towards the unknown, combined with an eye for details. I love capturing the feeling of exposition and vastness at non famous places on camera. My goal is to inspire viewers to go on adventures and experience themselves the awe I feel before our creator when being in the wilderness.
