In a high camp at 5400 metres in the eternal ice of the Cordillera Blanca in Peru. The mountain in the background is called Quitaraju and is 6036 metres high. Unfortunately, we were unable to climb this beautifully shaped pyramid due to poor conditions and the high risk of avalanches. However, the Cordillera Blanca is so extraordinarily beautiful that it would definitely be worth returning one day.
